Efficient Showerheads

Helping to fight global climate change is as easy as installing efficient showerheads and faucet aerators. High-performance efficient showerheads and aerators:

  • are easy to install
  • provide superior performance
  • use less water and energy
  • save money on utility bills
  • reduce greenhouse gas emissions
How Do I Install?
Installing an efficient showerhead is as easy as 1-2-3. View video instructions.
  1. Unscrew your showerhead. You might need a wrench to loosen it.
  2. Wrap a small amount of silicone tape around your spout's screw thread.
  3. Screw on the new showerhead tightly. Your new showerhead is ready to go!
Why High Efficiency?
Installing a high efficiency showerhead is an easy way to reduce water and energy consumption without sacrificing your comfort. You'll not only reduce your water and energy bills, but you'll be helping to fight climate change.

The average family of four uses 400 gallons of water each day. By using water-efficient showerheads and aerators, families can reduce those fixtures' water usage by 20 percent, helping residents save on utility bills.
